Cyanuric acid crystallizes from water with two water molecules. It differentiates in dry air to form octahedral, anhydrous crystals, and the melting point is not obvious. Generally, it melts and decomposes above 330°C.

Cyanuric acid appears as an important organic basic raw material, and it has hundreds of downstream products. At present, it is mainly used in disinfectants (Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate and Trichloroisocyanuric acid), Trishydroxyethyl isocyanurate(THEIC), Triglycidyl isocyanurate(TGIC) series flame retardants etc.

Because the heat resistance, buckling resistance, voltage breakdown resistance and thermal shock resistance of the polyester imide insulating varnish modified by this product have been greatly improved, especially the development of today's science requires large motor power and small size, so the demand for modified materials for heat-resistant polyester insulating varnishes increases accordingly, and there are tens of thousands of products in China. Therefore, the amount of Cyanuric acid as the main material is also rapidly expanding.
